ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Applicants wishing admission to Colonial Heights Beauty Academy are required to have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
In admitting students to our school we do not discriminate on basis of sex, age, race, color, religion, or ethnic origin. We also make no effort in the solicitation of students from another school offering a similar program in our recruiting efforts.
CLASS SCHEDULES
Classes start the first Tuesday in every other month unless low enrollment dictates every month. School will be closed January 1st, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and half a day Christmas Eve, closed Christmas day and the day after.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to graduate from the program, and receive a diploma, the student must successfully complete the required number of accomplishments, required number of clock hours as specified in the catalog and on the contract, pass all written and practical examinations with at least a 75% average, satisfy all financial obligations to the school which may include a promissory note.
JOB PLACEMENTS
Although we do not guarantee job placement, every effort will be made to help you find a position in the field of Cosmetology.
Throughout the period of enrollment, we will have many phone calls come in from Salon Owners and Managers wishing to interview any graduates or prospective graduates. All pertinent information related to jobs available is posted on the job placement board located in the classroom.
